The Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma, commonly known as La Seu, is one of the world’s most remarkable examples of Gothic architecture. Located in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, construction began in 1229 and continued for almost four centuries.

Built overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the cathedral is renowned for its soaring nave, intricate stonework, magnificent rose window and the harmonious blend of medieval craftsmanship with later contributions by renowned architect Antoni Gaudí.

As part of the Mr. Daniel Builds – Remarkable Buildings Around the World series, La Seu showcases how exceptional vision, engineering and craftsmanship can create architecture that continues to inspire builders, architects and designers centuries after its completion.
